Hell yes indeed!

Oscar Pistorius ran a 46.54 in the 2012 Olympic 400m semifinal (45.07 career best) - losing a spot in the final - but he gained respect from the world.

Just had a thought. The pressure sensitive starting blocks they use at the Olympics would completely mess up a Pd sufferer.

If this movement was triggered any sooner than a tenth of a second after the gun was fired, a false start would be declared. Humans generally can’t react to sound any faster than a 0.1 second, so anything faster than that isn’t allowed. Rather than relying on movement, the starting blocks in London will detect false starts by using sensors to measure pressure exerted on them by the athletes"

Maybe cant do it physically now, but we can dream of the days when we maybe could do something like running for a bus, walking miles. dancing all night etc etc .

I often walked 10 miles into work at weekends as a student Nurse, and thought nothing of it, in fact enjoyed it. Now I definately think I would miss my shift if I set off the week before.
