This question made me think about the worst things Parkinsons has done to me. The main one for me, I think, is the loss of independence, not being able to plan things in advance as I never know how I will be. I can't pretend I enjoy having Parkinsons, because I don't, but it has made me stronger. However, there are a lot of negatives common to us all.

Firstly there are so many people worse off than us.So what you say, there are people in the third world with PD.No trip to the neurolagist for them. i say accept your misfortune as hard as it is.and may be one day when we arrive at the land of milk and honey being normal again will be so much sweeter .
I concur with that statement there are those much worse than me but as Dylan Thomas wrote Rage Rage against dying if the light Do not will not go quietly into the night but fight
against the dying of the day. Accept each day as a challenge and waste it not..
worst thing for me is giving up ballroom class but I mentioned to a ballroom teacher yesterday I'm looking for a partner because with a good partner I can dance all night! (OK maybe half an hour or so) even though I walk funny
