I took a 30 day supply with no problems... what kind of reactions is he having?

He's extremely dizzy, nausea, can barely walk. Called doctor and they said to stop it and they will call in a script for something else. Guess everyone is different with their meds. I always thought UTI's were more common in women than men but guess that isn't true.

I have been fighting a UTI since February. In fact, I have an appointment this morning to see if it has been resolved. I've been on Nitrofurantoin 100 mg., Ciprofloxacin 500 mg, Cephalexin 500 mg, Nitrofur Mac 100 mg, Cefuroxime 500 mg, and just finished Amox/K Clav 500-125. If the infection is still present I will have to have antibiotic shots or intervenous antibiotics because he's tried all the oral antibiotics he can. I didn't have any trouble Cipro but did have problems with the 3rd round of Nitrofurantoin. Now that I have started Azilect I can't take Cipro. Good luck.
