I wish is could get Mom to exercise. She's so much better with new meds, but doesn't have the self-confidence to try moving too much. (she does have a pinched nerve in the spine.) Suggestions?

My doctor wanted me to take meds for Osteoporosis, but I can't take the standard meds so she wanted me to take the shot. I didn't want that (for fear of long lasting side effects). She also told me to exercise...couldn't find an excuse for that.

I began to feel so much better I soon learned that I NEED to exercise.

Also, very helpful is a neighbor who does the exercises with me....maybe you could do them together to get her started?
