don't say anything

Don’t tell me it will be alright

it won’t

it isn’t

Don’t tell me it will get better soon

it won’t

it doesn’t

Don’t tell me you understand

you don’t

you can’t

I pray you never have to

Don’t say anything

I hear everything

It's all about where we are at, isn't it?

I was there, in your poem today, among a thousand of those days.

Don't say anything ...

Don't say anything

Have my hand

I understand

We're in the same band

Don't say anything

Have my heart

I won't fall apart

Use it to start

Don't say anything

Have my zeal

It will heal

That's my deal

Don't say anything

I am right here

always near

I'll fight your fear

Don't say anything

words don't win

let light in

You will sing

Don't say anything

today is the day

it goes away

choose that way

Don't say anything, hell no I'll SHOUT, OUT LOUD, YOUR IN MY CROWD, THAT MAKES ME PROUD.

Great. I am speechless! Which for me is unusual. Will read both again later.

I can tell you it will be all right. I can tell you that because I am where you are and I have been where you went. I can also tell you you aren't alone, many of us understand. The only thing I won't tell you is it will get better soon, because I know it won't. But again I can say, You are NOT alone!!!!

I will say this: I've gotten better, I've been worse, It will get better and it will get worse. I dwell in the light when my mind is dark and don't always think of me as Mr Park. I shake, I freeze and I doubt and I want to scream what the hell is this all about? It wrecked my ship on it's lee shore, here comes a tsunami get ready for more. But I will be strong, if just for you, I'm just one of your supportive crew... Smile, it won't spoil your mask..

Just great, I must say my most hated saying is YOU LOOK GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! euch

LOL! Yes, but that can be subjective. "You look great" makes me feel like saying, "In comparison to??? Sorry to disappoint you--I'm still here, don't rush me!" But "you look great" whispered in my ear by a lover. . .or hearing a my 6 yr old say breathless say "Mommy you look beautiful". . .or said longingly by a terminally ill friend. . .

But yes, the polite social remarks make my stomach ache and my head buzz. . .just don't say anything, I hear it away

I am not a poet but I do have PD and I understand the emotion of what each of you have written.

Just this week I broke out in tears as I could not remember names and could not get words out of my mouth. I know it is not going to get better, even though the friend I was trying to talk to said "you never know, there might be a breakthrough"...

I may be pessimistic, but I don't think it will come before I am too far along for it to make a difference in my life.

Being negative may make you feel like you are being more honest with yourself, but there is proof in the medical community that people who keep a positive attitude tend to heal and the heal faster. Some have even healed totally. Check the web site parkinsonsrecovery.com People on blog talk radio share how they have healed themselves.

Expressing an emotion, even if it's negative is healthy. A limited glimpse at someone's post of mere sentences doesn't mean they are as a whole negative.

Chronic illness, chronic pain, chronic life circumstances are hard to bear. Finding an outlet rather than a cure is my destination today.
