Did anyone notice that a post regarding "The Glove By Kinnections : A low-cost non-invasive Parkinson's Disease Treatment" was deleted. Are the students from RICE still going to produce the gloves?

It appears that they are just giving the plans and I believe that most who are making their own gloves were able to find some of the information needed to do this so this seems to be information that is already fairly readily available
That is old information. Current information can be found here: kinnections.foundation/
"Before we begin manufacturing, we’re opening limited pre-orders to gauge demand and ensure we produce the right number of kits.
By placing a risk-free pre-order today, you’ll reserve your Glove by Kinnections kit, set to ship by the end of the year. No financial commitment needed today!
Current plans are to price the gloves at $250 but plan on on offering a sliding scale for people unable to afford this!"
I just wrote to Kinnections regarding the matter and they got back to me with the message below:
"Hi, The Moderators unfortunately deleted our post, which is unfortunate but at the same time we respect their decision. Make sure you sign up for pre-orders on our website kinnections.foundation, and we will provide everyone with updates as we progress."
Good grief, why??? I am most interested in this as being helpful. To what did the moderators object?
I thought the info was super helpful too and would like to know why the moderators objected.
It's notable that the mods haven't taken the opportunity to explain the disappearance. Has anyone asked them? They almost certainly explained their reason to kinnections, so, since they haven't shared it either, the answer is almost certainly a patent infringement "cease and desist" from stanford
Hi, We are definitely still around and We also definitely have no trouble with Stanford and have investigated thoroughly our ability to take on this project! We respect the research Stanford has done and will do nothing to taint that. The moderators have explained to us in detail what they envisioned this space to be, and our initial post did not respect that. This is a space for People with Parkinson's to connect with one another, and our post was not indicative of that. We are still on the forum however! It's through this forum we've had the privilege of interacting with so many people who've given us valuable feedback and advice.
Ah. Thank you for the explanation. My mistake. To assume, it is said, "makes an ass of u & me". If you have approached Stanford and obtained their consent then there is nothing to be concerned about. It is counter-intuitive though for a university with a strong legal faculty which has invested tens of millions in this research and which (with Peter Tass) has filed more than one detailed patent protecting the concept, to so readily license that patented process to an open source venture. Congratulations on your achievement
