I wrote about it once but this needed saying even if you don’t like me me for it.
My doctor recommended that I stop driving. So I bought a motorcycle. It's a little 49cc moped-style bike which means I don't need a license or tags to be legal. It only goes 20MPH. The state treats it like a bicycle. But I found it can be made to go a little faster if I put in a bigger carburetor. Then I found it can go even faster if I put in a larger piston . Then found it could be made to go even faster if I changed the cam shaft. And even faster yet if I changed the transmission gears and tires.
So now it's fast enough to go on the interstate even though driving on the interstate scares the crap outta me. So I use side roads which take longer but I'm in no hurry.
I realize a motorcycle is more dangerous than a car. Especially where I live; The daily paper often has gory photos of motorcycle crashes. But that's what I have to deal with. I wear a helmet even though there's no helmet law here. Years ago I lived in Colorado Springs. I remember a common bumper sticker: I drive Academy; Pray for me. I could get a sticker; I drive I-90. Pray for me!
I'm not sure I agree with what you are doing but I did laugh when I read this. Cheers!
i no longer drive...i let elon do it for me.
