what could we expect from this ? - Cure Parkinson's
what could we expect from this ?
Looks good, but it's an article without specifics, i.e. how much improvement and in which symptoms?
Well... Since you are posting the URL, we are assuming that you have read the contents. We expect a short summary along with the URL

Pharmaceutical companies are driven by profit, so I question the results of these clinical trials. Let's hope this is a legitimate remedy for PD.
It's not. It's just another drug that relieves symptoms, sadly, imo.
But I think every business in the world is driven by profit, including the ones who make/purify/bottle herbal remedies, and the naturopaths who advise you which ones to take, the gyms where you go to exercise or the the trainers who post do-it-yourself videos with ads. You just hope their desire for profit lines up with your desire for a product.
I actually have a relative who knows and used to work at Pfizer with the Tavapadon team and specifically is friends with one of the lead developers. (Pfizer spun out Cerevel who were then acquired by AbVie.) I looked at being on one of the Tavapadon trials but it did not sync up with where I was with my disease and other trials.
My take.
Tavapodon is real, it will help some people with some symptoms, it will be expensive, it will most likely be available quite soon. It treats symptoms only.
Tavapdon is a dopamine agonist that tries to solve many of the problems with dopamine agonists. It is a modern drug that has been specifically engineered to solve problems with existing Parkinson's medications as opposed to a scatter shot, "maybe this will work" . approach. (This is the partial agonist, D1/D5 stuff)
It is probably not replacing Carbidopa/Levodopa any time soon but it might replace some agonists and provide a way to reduce C/L amounts and subsequent dyskinesia.
I think they are going to try to get this to market soon because there are other drugs and treatments in the pipeline that may obsolete this.
The Neuro that I go to and where I have done trials, did some of the Tavapadon trials and they think it is quite good.
I would try it but I doubt my insurance will pay for it!
Onward!
