Past studies were small scale and had other limitations, the incidence of dementia is considerably lower than previously thought, this study suggests (many of the previous studies are almost 20 years old)

Dementia not as common in PD? It was widely believed that 80% of people with Parkinson's would develop dementia. Here’s the good news from this analysis: only 50% will within 15 years of a Parkinson's diagnosis and a mere 90% within 25 years... 😅
