I am trying to organize my passwords and I forgot pswrd for this site. I can see where to change it (which requires that I know what it is). I need to reset it as I do NOT know what it’ is
how do I reset password? I am in passwo... - Cure Parkinson's
how do I reset password? I am in password hell.

NEVERMIND, I FOUND HOW TO DO IT, DONT ASK ME HOW AS I HAVE NO IDEA!
I just use the same password for everything. My wife writes hers down and they are always very complicated , changes them every six months or so . Guess which one has problems with passwords. I will give you a hint : not me.
Probably a better option for both of you is to use "password manager" available on Google chrome and other browsers. With this, you can have zillions of complicated passwords for different accounts without the need to remember any of them. It automatically brings up your password with the associated username or email
This is NOT a new tech or feature though, its been around for several years... I've used different passwords for different accounts for years and never needed to remember any of them
Glad you were able to get in Jmellano.... Password managers unfortunately are a double edged sword. Yes they make it easy - but you stop using your own intelligence to remember them and the more you use your own memory - the more you will remember. Just my opinion.
Good point. But there other less risky methods you can use to maintain, and develop your memory. Getting locked out of your own account is no fun. Remember strong passwords should be combination of random letters and numbers, no dictionary names, containing characters like £#%^&? With lots of those.... No, I won't bet on anyone remembering those.
Yes absolutely these days you have to have characters often. As Jmellano says below the whole hackers thing is a bit of a pain and a reason I don't like anything financial in a password manager area online. As a person who doesn't have PD, I use both ways of password saving but I try to always log in manually when I can with a strong password which doesn't always have to be long for both my own and my husbands (pwp) needs. Its like remembering phone numbers on your cell. Dial them, don't automatically push a button - it really does work. Have you ever tried the name remembering game - as soon as you meet someone and they say their name - repeat their name out loud.... it's shockingly good. I wonder if the same thing works with passwords at all.... 🐰
I am so weary of passwords; it is easie for hackers to get your data than it is for us to access or own data. Some websites are requring up to 12 characters. the writing is on the wall...
