It was 5 years ago. The trial didn't meet it's primary endpoint. This led to a review of efficacy measures for PD trials there is continuing interest, including a recent gene therapy

You are aware, right, that Sergey Brin, co-found of Google and worth 120 billion dollars has donated recently 1 BILLION dollars (he has the lark2 gene) and is funding 35 different TOP NOTCH science/research teams around the globe?

I didnt knnow this latest, very interesting. He paid for me and anyone else with pd to do the 23 and Me genetic testing for PD research purposes. That was about 15 years ago.
