Reminds me of "See it. Think it. Be it!"

Advice from Greger needs to be taken with a grain of salt. He refused to pull down his video in favor of it increasing uric acid levels in spite of the fact that the phase 3 study trying this idea out had to be halted for futility, caused kidney stones, and made Parkinson's worse. For details, see here: healthunlocked.com/cure-par...

The book is about 600 pages and is full of links to scientific papers for everything and to his videos on each topic. I haven’t got to anything in Uric acid yet.

it’s interesting as it gives lists of foods with each kind of inhibitor for various enzyme processes that affect aging. Lots of it is stuff posted on here already but a good resource having it all in one book.

I guess science is always getting out dated as new trials and discoveries are made , but the main theme is eat whole plant foods so that won’t ever date!

Yes he does cite scientific studies. The problem is he takes association for causation and that is not always the case. See my post linked above.

I’m also reading it. Lots to take in - very thorough! We are already striving for a whole-food plant-based diet around here, but get a kick out of tweaking it. Trying to track down purple sweet potatoes. Would love a ParkinsonsFacts.org site - focussing in on Parkinson's the same way NutritionFacts focussed on nutrition. Would be great if all the Parkinson’s research papers each year were systematically evaluated with highlights summarized in short videos and blogs to make sure we aren’t missing anything. Actually we do have the very good work done by the NoSilverBullet4PD team - with their interviews and their Instagram posts! Much appreciated ❤️.

I find purple sweet potatoes at the Asian food stores in my city.

You might be able to get seed potatoes from your local garden shop or by mail order and grow them in a bucket if you don't have a garden

Now that is an idea!

I have read his earlier book How Not to Die. It is very interesting but he does see everything through the prism of being a vegan and no other option being viable or safe. In the end we prefer a little more flexibility eg a mediterranean diet.
