Anyone who loves their dog...my dog is our best support therapy, followed in equal measure by our cats. Although this so far is limited to the US (maybe Canada), it's so serious precisely because its transmission route is unknown and almost no veterinarians are aware of it, and the one lab which is doesn't know what it might be or what might work, so far nothing does. So if you love your dog(s), reading this will give you enough info to start tracking it. Our dog is now not allowed near other dogs, others who contact dogs, environments that have had other dogs, and even our vet has had to promise to sterilize all contact areas at their clinic, including when our cat has his teeth worked on tomorrow since the suite and the vets and the waiting areas all may be contaminated with dog. Thankfully they are taking this as seriously as we are, instead of thinking we are cranks.
