New FDA-approved treatment for Alzheimers - Cure Parkinson's
New FDA-approved treatment for Alzheimers
It seems like the fact that three people who died during the trial is significantly important as those deaths were thought to be caused by the drug itself :

A relevant article quote :
' “The failure of Eisai and [lecanemab codeveloper] Biogen to disclose this case … is concerning and undermines my confidence that the reported safety data is complete,” says Vanderbilt University neurologist and neuroscientist Matthew Schrag, who also reviewed the woman’s records. '
The manufacturer seems to be downplaying these three deaths as there is no mention of death during the trial on their web page :

Thanks for posting PDWarrior. The bigger picture not to lose sight if is that these drug interventions, with quite serious side effects, still only slow progression by a relatively small degree.
These drugs are available alongside more innovative interventions, such as Dr. Dale Bresden's protocol, which for many is actually reversing the symptoms of Alzheimer's.
I'd recommend a read of Dr. Bresden's book, there are a lot of corollaries with Parkinson's disease and treatments that are starting to emerge.
