This is an interesting article and had some information that was new to me. I also read all of the comments and some emphasized that while the exercise was good at slowing progression that patients really need more support and hope for a cure. It seemed like part of the problem was that some of the patients could not get a diagnosis until they were at a point where doing the exercise was difficult. My husband has a healthy lifestyle and he walked for exercise several days a week and it may have helped him stave it off to a certain degree.
Yes, the article had some new and encouraging information. Also, the video below that Michel020 posted is excellent! My husband seems to benefit from exercise. Last summer he was riding his ebike 24+ miles (2 hours) 4-6 days a week and he was doing great. With winter weather set in it has taken us a bit of time to get him back on a good routine and he has developed a left hand tremor. But I think we are definitely on track, especially after reading and watching the video.
Hopefully your husband can get into a good exercise routine if he isn’t yet.
Michel0220 ~ Thank you for sharing this video! It’s very encouraging and I formative and I’ve only listened to about 25 minutes!! I’ll finish it on my next treadmill session.
I hope others here will take the time to watch it.
