The pot doc

Her words, not mine. When we moved here to see a neurologist I first needed a local doctor. I assume she's popular. I saw her one year ago but was seen by an employee. Now a year later it was time for an annual exam and again I saw an employee. I snapped this photo in her reception room. Because of prostate disease the exam included a DRE. The best thing I can say about the exam is that her associate had small fingers. The local news mentioned this state had just legalized pot for recreational use. Maybe that's why she's so popular. The same day I joined a Tai Chi class at Hartford Medical. So now on top of Rytari I get acupuncture and Tai Chi.

You made me laugh about the small fingers! Well done on experimenting with acupuncture and Tai Chi.

Thanks. The Tai Chi was kinda weird. It was in a long, narrow room with floor-to-ceiling mirrors on one wall. The mirrors made the room seem huge, like an empty warehouse. But there were just eight of us, all with tremoring arms as we tried to follow the instructor's orders to hold one hand low and one hand high, then switch hands as if holding a basketball. Lots of discussions of "Chi" and how it moves and how to aid its movement by standing on one leg. I studied acupuncture years ago and understood most of what he said about meridians and the lower belly being the "Sea of Chi..."
