AK,

Second time I've listened to him, most likely on your posts where he ends by saying PD will be the first of the big neurological diseases to be solved. Really want to believe him-he does sound confident in what they have so far. Also, at the 31 minute mark he questions why the Nilotinib trials moved into the lab as his cohort seemed to know already the science wasn't good & would turn out very negative.

On the age comment below, he comes right out and states that people in their 80s & 90s have too many things happening health-wise to get the clearest indication of success from a PD point of view only. That could also speed things up. Dr. Werner as CEO always gives their cash position and $ burn rate, which leads me to believe they are motivated to get this Blood Brain Barrier penetrating compound to us quicker than most clinicals/processes I've read about.

Sounds hopeful, it kinda scares me it's a cancer drug, I'm assuming one wouldn't have to take Carbidopa/levodopa with it.
