Has anyone heard anything about this device? I saw a good testimonial for it on ‘stuff that works’ website.

Thank you Park bear. We live in the Uk so might be worth having the 2 week trial. I’ll let the group know if my husband takes the plunge….

My good friend had one fitted 2 months ago and says that it’s life changing. He went into his appt using a walking stick and in his words “came out carrying it.” Amongst the other benefits he has experienced are a general relaxing of his muscles which means he no longer needs to take pain killers 4 times daily, the ability to raise his right arm up high as previously he could only lift to chest height and a marked reduction in his tremors.

His wife has observed an improvement in his mood and noticed that he’s initiating more conversations and is generally more talkative.

Interestingly a friend of his also had one fitted but found it gave no benefit. However after a discussion between the two of them, it transpired that he wasn’t wearing it properly. The weighted piece which sits behind the ear was not connecting with the right part of the ear/skull and was therefore not stimulating the vestibular nerve.

The lady that created it is working with Parkinson’s UK and Lincoln University to develop it further.

Whilst it might not work for everyone please keep an open mind as my friend is living proof that it works.

P.S. he also states that the standard and range of his tai chi moves are much better!
