A change of 5.9 on a UPDRS total score is only of minimal clinical significance, but in this study ear stimulation they used the UPDRS-motor score, and according to a large scale 2010 study (Shulman) regarding the interpretation of this (motor section only) test, a change of 5.9 is in the mid-range of having a moderate clinical significance.
