Dave’s REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (and sore shoulder) Protocol pdprotocols.atwebpages.com/...

Last updated 12/03/2021: I should mention this protocol is not working particularly well to stop RBD at the moment.

I wanted to clearly document a protocol so it could be broken down and improved. I want to nail down dosing, timing, sourcing, combinations, anything that can be improved. Of course there is a great chance none of this helps anything. I know where this bus is going if I don't try something, so let us try.

Zeolite was back on my list for a few days, and in those few days my RBD got worse so it is on the outs again.

Saccharomyces boulardii and Apigenin will likely be on my list soon (which is sad, as I really want to shorten the list).

Suggestions are welcome. Also, if anybody wants my source document as a template to make your own protocol document, just let me know. I am also up for brainstorming sessions. Please Lord help us all get off this bus.

I'm interested in the shoulder protocol.

Still struggling with my shoulders. Have done since Dx

I do not have Parkinsons (my husband does) but I had frozen shoulder. I had acupuncture and I think some of the anti-inflammatories I take helped get rid of it - probably niacinamide. ginger, and turmeric which also help with knee arthritis

Hello DEAT, I just called it my sore shoulder protocol because, while I have not been diagnosed with PD, I have the classic sore shoulder.

Sadly, my protocol is not actually working very well at all.

Thanks for your detailed protocol, Bolt. I'm sorry it hasn't been helping the sleep disorder recently but who knows whether it may lessen your chance of PD down the track. I don't have your sleep disorder but, because of family history, I too am concerned about my risk of developing PD, and my own sleep became disrupted a couple of years ago, in my case featuring easy sleep onset but a period of several hours of wakefulness in the small hours each night. This seems to have been resolved by my taking 3g glycine on an empty stomach at bedtime. It's cheap and has no side effects for me, so I wonder if it isn't worth trying. (I take 3 capsules, each of 1000mg) Another suggestion is possibly increasing your melatonin up to about 18mg if 10mg is not causing you any problems (the 2-3mg of melatonin that I tried had no impact on my own sleep disorder after a few days).

Thank you goldengrove. I think I am on the right path, but the Zeolite was derailing me. At least that is what I hope.

Glycine... You may, or may not, want to read this thread on Glycine. It was almost a flip of a coin, but I landed on "no" for Glycine: healthunlocked.com/cure-par...

But I DID sleep well when I was taking Glycine. No doubt.
