In the past I posted about my tremor preventing me from meditating. I recently had botox which reduced the tremors significantly. It cut the tremors to 50% or better improvement. I tried meditating this morning while sitting outside in the sun. The tremor was there but not serious enough to interfere.

Thanks that's good to know. Wish you continued success.
Can you tell me about the botox? Where do they inject it? How long does it last for? Pleased you are getting improvement.
Yes-where do u get botox done and how long does it last...and any neg side effects? I find reg strenuous exercise reduces tremors. Also a concoction of supplements.. especially Omega 3 fish oils
I see Dr Bortan at Hartford health Care in Mystic, CT. She injects botox into several spots in my wrist and elbow. It lasts 2-3 months. This was the third treatment and the first where I noticed a change. I don't know whether that means she's injecting different sites each time or the same sites and the effects are cumulative.
The only negative effect I see is a weaker grip strength in my left hand.
Managed an hour in the sun today. First chance to sit on the past few days. And like before I was able to meditate. The left hand tremor is still there but not bad enough to interfere. I guess the botox is a success.
