Regarding the promising High Dose Thiamine Therapy for treatment of Parkinsons Disease, for you that have taken or are taking the therapy, do you take it under a doctor’s care and if so, anyone of you live here in the USA? I am looking for a doctor that will prescribe it and monitor the treatment. Any recommendations?

It’s not magic. It’s not science. A little reading and you’re a master.
I think you may have a little difficulty finding such a doctor in the US. I think the majority of neurologists are not even aware of it or what benefits it may offer. Quite a few forum members have asked their neurologists about taking B1 and the majority of the members reporting that their neurologist didn't know anything about it and wouldn't know how to oversee its use.
There have also been a lesser amount of members who have reported that their doctors told them that since thiamine has such a good safety profile it likely wouldn't hurt to try it. That is not to say that members have not had side effects though, because they have. I can remember a couple of reports of elevated blood pressure, rash and increased or worsened symptoms. The last item was almost always related to a dose that was too high and stopping B1 for 3 to 5 days resolved the overdose state and then once the symptoms returned to normal for each individual, the B1 could be restarted at a reduced dose which varied depending on the individual and also on how overdosed they were.
