My older brother was diagnostic 6 years a go with PD and last Monday had an appointment with Dr. Tuma, but he was not so enthusiastic because is temporary and not warranty to get better. His constant search for cure alternatives, he found this new treatment that initially was aim for head tumors and them applying for PD and see good result. Is more expensive but is worthy trying. The cost is range between 15K-17K in Lima Peru. But I see the have one in USA Seattle, WA.

Here is the links, first the one in Lima, Peru. and second in USA Seattle. WA.

Looks like it’s used to treat essential tremors and not PD. I tried to call the facility to ask if it would work for PD but the number I called said they didn’t know where to direct me. There are several phone numbers on the Swedish.org/gammaknife website.

Here is the Google translation to English of the only page that resulted from a site search for Parkinson's:

translate.google.com/transl...

All it says is:

" Researchers are exploring the use of stereotaxic radiosurgery to treat other diseases, including cerebral glioblastoma, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease"

In other words they are not claiming any treatment for Parkinson's at this time.

It's a reach. Gamma knife is best at removing things. That's not the case with PD.
