Parkinson’s/Rainy Days
Rainy days usually mean low pressure. I know people with arthritis, but not PD, who have this issue. I don't have this problem at the beginning of PD, but I don't know if this is an issue as PD progresses.
My husband was diagnosed in June 2020 with Parkinson’s. He just turned 60 in June. We think he has had Parkinson’s since 2014 or at least that is what we think now. We have been keeping track of his good and bad days. He has not been on any prescription meds. Trying out different things now. Mucuna, green tea, B1, L-tyrosine, etc...
Definitely a difference for me. Much poorer coordination and weaker fine motor skills.
I definitely notice a difference on rainy days, extremely hot or cold days. Muscles seem to be more stiff, tremor and leg spasms are more problematic.
He definitely feels the difference during the heat and humidity. Also the extreme cold bothers his legs as well.
