Took me back. A friend ran disco's with a rig he built himself, and we all crashed the gig with him (biggest teenage road crew probably). Anyway, this was always the song played after the lights came up, whilst we took down the lights, put on by Ralph, until Ralph died in a motorbike accident in his first year at Uni, and we took down the rig in silence.

Nice playing

love it!! I use to play guitar as well, but sadly PD has really affected my playing. Can still enjoy listening though

Bravo! you pulled it off !

I’m a guitar player as well -mostly jazz and blues and pop/folk. And when I am medicated properly and I’m not wearing off I can play quite well, but for me that means one good hour of guitar playing (or of anything for that matter )every four hours.

Well I ‘sort of’ pull it off but am aware of little stumbles and inadequacies. Thanks for the encouragement though to you Oceanflow and all you guys above. It’s still good fun and always nice to connect with others. 😊🎶🎸

With PD it seems important keep doing what takes dexterity, especially what we learned before PD. This is therapy to counter the PD symptoms. For me it's riding a bicycle outdoors. I don't have the precision of when I was younger and am much more careful. I used to slide around corners without falling over. I now don't come close to taking that kind of chance, but still remember how. The challenge now is how long I can keep the bicycle upright when stopped before putting my foot down; a good exercise in balance. I can't type as fast as I used to, but keep typing. It's therapy in hand dexterity like playing your guitar.

Fantastic job, Jeeves! I admire your perseverance and talent! Keep it up, forget about PD. My husband has a beautiful guitar. He used to play with an amateur group while he was in the Air Force. When he was first diagnosed, he took it out from the storage and started to play. Pretty soon after that he complained that dexterity won't let him play and gave it up. He put it in the corner of our TV room and never touched it again. I have begged him over and over to start playing it again no matter how it would sound to no avail. :(

It’s sort of in my blood Despe. I still just adore it as an instrument and love playing all those riffs of The Eagles, Beatles etc 🎸
