DRILL DOWN:

"a GRADE analysis showed that the current overall level of evidence for exercise-induced neuroplasticity in people with PD is very low."

Unfortunately.

The reason is that major population of PD patients consist of old people who cannot carry out intense exercise. There are some people on this forum who are apparently able to slow down their disease progression with help of exercise. The other factor is the lack of earlier diagnosis which can be helpful in starting the meaningful exercise at the nascent stage of the disease.

I agree. I'm 83 and some days I can barely take a walk or do my chair exercises. Tried some machines but was so tired I could not build up the time and gave up.
