Curiosity Question

I recently went to my MDS & asked him to fill out some FMLA paperwork that would allow my wife to take time off from work whenever she needs to take me to doctor appointments etc.

I was diagnosed in 2012. However, there was a question in the form that asked, “When did the condition manifest itself”. The doctor put down “2005”. I wonder why that is?

I wanted to find out if anyone had a similar experience that you could share. I will be sure to ask the doctor during the next appointment.

My neurologist thought that I had PD symptoms, based on my history, at least 8 years before my diagnoses! My Family Doctor concurs, with my neurologist!

I don’t have a response for your curiosity question. But I do have a remark regarding FMLA.

I have retired from a Human Resources career. Please remember to have FMLA paperwork completed every calendar year (Jan. 1-Dec. 31) as long as your wife works!

Best regards, Parkiewife
