Double edged sword. It does help but it also hinders absorption of Levodopa because of delayed gastric emptying.
"Exenatide has promise. But the question is for whom. Should we still believe any therapy can modulate the entire biological diversity of PD? Let’s hope this study will be big enough for a post hoc analysis on the biospecimens of responders, assuming a subgroup will benefit."
