Yes I was wondering that.My nose doesn't feel blocked but I always feel catarh running down my throat.I have had a couple of bad head colds recently but they have gone now.I also have stiffness in my neck
I felt a bit swollen around the back of my head. Dr says there is nothing there. See my post. I found a paper saying the glymphatic system actually drains into there.
Try sinus rinse with sterile salty water and pinch baking soda. I had all kinds of grit and flake of paint come out. And other unmentionables! Massage around sinuses, back of head, over top of head, around ears. I still have a slightly blocked ear so Ichewed raw garlic and put a drop of olive oil in it last night and it seems to have helped a bit. The weird head feeling is nearly gone!
Dr will give you antibiotics but I would be wary of taking them unless nothing else works.
I had no pain, but tenderness in spots around head, no fever, blood tests didn’t indicate infection, no redness or pus. Just post nasal drip. But I am positive it was sinus blockages. There was some blood and greeny yellow in the sinus rinse but nothing obvious without rinsing.
Thanks so much for this! I will try bicarb.
I'm awaiting blood tests.
Ok, let me know how it goes. I found this method good, and then I just changed to using a mug filled to the brim and dipping my nose in and sucking like using your nose like a straw then spitting out. Don’t breathe it in. Yuk 😬 but it works.
Hi KayKayKay123,
I've had the same on my forehead, there was a very sore spot and it felt just like a bruise. I knew I had not knocked my head on anything & I was a bit puzzled by it.
It has now disappeared and I am none the wiser as to what caused it.
As you have had it there for a few months I would personally get your doctor to check it out.
Thank you.Yes I'm seeing my Neurologist soon.
I have had the same sensation, it comes and goes
