I will be 68 years young in December. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in August 2010. The last two years my slide has been a little steeper and faster. I know it, my wife knows it and my three adult children know it.

Last week my son (also have two daughters, two grand daughters and two grandsons) and I returned home from a baseball trip to the west coast. Seventeen years ago we agreed to see a game at every Major League Baseball park. We've been to 28, only two more to go - Minnesota and Atlanta.

Last October my son married a beautiful gal from Staten Island. I was completely overwhelmed when he asked me to be his best man.

Next year Phil and Kate, Barbara and I will finish our baseball journey. There are so many good memories and photos to back them up. We are very fortunate to have the time and resources.

Please do whatever it takes to stay in the game. So many brilliant minds are attacking this dreadful disease. The Greatest - Mohammed Ali once said - never count the days, make the days count.

Hi, so glad you are enjoying the days, weeks, months, and years. May they continue to be good with things to look forward to..........and may research give more answers to slow the progression.

I'll remember your Muhammid Ali quote, value you a lot. You are one of the people who I admire and feel supported by every time we talk on the phone.

There are some truly great minds, and I suspect the work of Prof Shinya Yamanaka is doing is leading the way. In time for you and me... who knows. But don't let go at this point. (Your nilotinib buddy)

You're such an inspiration! God blessed you with a wonder family, be thankful for that. I will be celebrating my 46th wedding anniversary next month--still going strong.
