I've been on .c/l for maybe 3 years. My regimen is1.5 25/100 mylan tablet starting at 8:00,am ,11:00, 2:00, 5:00, 8:00, 9:30pm. Lately have added one half extended release for 11:00 and 5:00 dose to help with meal interference. It seems that it take an hour to get on which lasts maybe 30 minutes. Positive effects are short lived. Too much off time. Is There better option than Mylan brand. How can I improve on time. Please make suggestions. Thanks

Maybe try smaller doses closer together? Or the same dose more frequently? I don't take meds after 6pm, but during the day I take doses every 1 or two hours, depending on the size of the dose. Check with your doctor about being more flexible with timing. As far as drug manufacturers go, you can ask your pharmacy to fill a small quantity with a different brand, but make sure you have your standard as backup.
