Okay for those with PD. Best thought on shoes. Always worn Sperrys but frustrated with the ties coming undone or done ties. Most slip on have a long tong too difficult to slip on.

Sandals with white socks. Looks funny but oh it feels good. My feet don't hurt when i wear this. My wife will not let me go out in them. But i wear them when i drive and change before we go in to eat or what ever we are going to do.

Try it you will like it.

How about some coloured socks for a change!

Colored socks tend to be thinner and don't feel as good.

My shoes now need to be flat (sadly) and have laces or straps to keep them on. I wear my socks inside-out if they have bulky seams.

I go barefoot whenever possible, which helps reduce toe curling.

I have been wearing those for a while now. Easy on and off with velcro, stay well on your feet , they are comfortable. I do have half length Orthotics, need something more to raise my Arch.

Have you tried Merrill or Born shoes ? They have slip ons with no tongue or ties. They are sturdy well made shoes. I find them comfortable for my feet.

Socks take me too long to put on. My favorites shoes are little black rubber-soles zip ups. Anne Klein has them and Zappos or DSW. I can wear them to the gym or for office casual. They are comfortable on city streets. Best of all, a little zip and they are on or off.

For deep snow and winter walking, LLBean has "winter sneakers" with velcro closure. Even I can get out of the house in more reasonable time.

Inserts from Hanger and Cowboy boots.

Crocs almost all the time. My feet don't cramp up in them.

I’ve bought new elastic laces from Amazon which has turned all my trainers into slip ons. Brilliant!

I live in Fitflop boots all winter - they are nice and wide and easy to put on. Now I know my size I get them on EBay.

I can't wear crocs/Birkenstocks any more as they fall off my left foot - used to live in them but some small gait change thing means they are dangerous now - nearly fell downstairs! Keen or Merrell velcro fasten sandals in summer (Merrell kids sizes go up to UK size 6).

You could try wearing funny or naughty socks. BlueQ and Yo Socks are two companies that make them for men and women. Show your funny side or what you are really thinking. Yay for flat shoes. Sadly I cannot was wear my cowgirl boots that a have a heel b and leather soles too slippery. Have fun shoe shopping.

New Balance 847v2 are the only shoes I can walk in just wish they had velcro fasteners. I walk down our long driveway in Keen hiking boots and use Aetrex inner soles. Pricey but boots are still good after 4 yrs and the shoes too.

Try Sketchers. They have many slip ons but warning they definitely stretch out after a time.
