I'm a 51yrs old bloke living in Bournemouth, who believes that he has Parkinsons disease.
I've been type 1 diabetic for 41yrs and had a non related stroke 17 yrs ago. This outwardly left me unchanged but the whole of my right hand side is now in constant pain. I've tried nearly every alternative method of pain relief, yoga, mindfulness, cold water swimming, tens machine, acupuncture, holistic massage and even paid for hypabaric oxygen therapy.
After all these I've found that the best thing for me is walking and keeping active as possible, so now I walk with my dog "Sonny " who's a Dogue de Bordeaux with issues. He was the smallest and only boy out of a litter of 14 puppies. He's my best mate who is with me constantly and keeps me on my toes.
