I have pd...lots of gastric issues including bloating. I'm having to drink and eat more fiber. I take water pills to help reduce water retention. Ur mom might b having gastric issues. Building up of gas or gastric reflux.

I have same issue. I have suffered from IBS for many years so guessed it is pain from excess gas but lately the pain is much sharper. I wondered if Sinemet was to blame or just PD. I've been thinking about seeking medical advice but it generally disappears and I forget about it. Would be interesting to know how common this is.
