I came over something on PD on the net today. I honestly do not know whether one should cry or laugh. But, there is something incredible moving with the little text. I provide a translation from Norwegian to English (The original is from a book by Norwegian author Torgald Røe.)
"Arne and I talked about how long it could be possible to hold out the kind of lives we had. He died in August. He hung himself in a bed at the nursing home. Arne was a practical man. He became 60 years old."

I hope to continue being a "broadcaster" of the good news that Jesus is alive and loves us until He is ready for me to come home. Yes, the text is moving but sad that Arne did not experience God as a person who could be trusted to care for him until the end.
What? "He hung himself" and he "was a practical man"??? A bit odd that you not only include laughing as one of your possible reactions, but that you even consider it worth translating/posting here.
