I switched from REQUIP to Rytary over a year ago -- with good results.

How much do you take?

I take 2 capsules (23.75mg/95mg each) 3 times a day; a total of 6 capsules of Rytary, "slow release" carbodopa levodopa.

Does it wear off or last 5 hours. I have 61.25/245 3 x day and that seems strong.

I haven't noticed it wearing off. My neurologist told me I'm on the minimum effective Rytary dose. I also take Azilect 1mg in the am and 100mg Amantadine in the am. After dinner I take 100mg Amantadine.

I've been on it for 4 months and I think it's better. However i am on a decline since the election.... I doubt I'll be alive or in a cognitive state when I feel proud of my country again.

Let me know how the Rytary went for you. My neurologist prescribed it but I haven't had the nerve to try it, as I had two other meds that made me ill. It will be good if it makes it easier to maintain the Carbodopa/Levadopa at an even level. Also it expensive.
