personally, I am refreshed after x-hrs of rest even if that happens to be in the middle of night, I think my mitochondria are well, I hope.

I read an article a few months ago and in it they said that in PD the mitochondria is not the problem. The problem is a defect in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). You can do a google search for it. This is good news as according to the article this can be fixed.

have a very rough idea what it is/does, but what goes wrong and how is it fixed? really complicates things.
