I was diagnosed with PD in 2004, surgery both eyes in 2011.  Now having some double viision.. Reduced by having prisms in glasses.  Actually at this point minor hassle.  Forward posture is an issuee. unsure if contributes, alignmrnt off in both eyes, though larger in right field of vision. Alignment attributed to muscular issues.  Unknown if involves my PD? BillDavid

I had cataracts in both eyes due to side effects of taking medicine steroids and anti fungals. It has taken 6 months for the eyes to settle post surgery as they kept changing vision . Now ok . I wear glasses still due to astigmatism etc but at last I am seeing better. Took a long time but in the end all seems well. Good luck.

Was the steroid/anti-fungal a combined topical medication? The doc just prescribed that very thing for me today.

Was in the form of tablets and I took them for a year . Now totally off steroids as they have such serious side effects combined with anti fungals of  voriconazole and now   taking a different anti fungals med in tablet form .I  now attend the centre of excellence for lung disease in Manchester with the wonderful Prof  Denning. Hope  this helps.

I am interested in this too.  I find it very hard to see at night if I am driving in the rain and have learned that I have cataracts in both eyes.  I am planning to have laser-assisted cataract surgery.  I wonder if anyone has had that type of cataract surgery.  @Starfire, have you cataract surgery and are now having problems?

I had not been diagnosed yet with pd (but had symtoms) when I had double cataract surgery and had muti-focal lens implanted; I have had no problems and no need for glasses and can drive at night

Yes, yes, yes.  Cataract surgery on both eyes were not successful.  On the side of both eyes I saw large white circles, fading in and out.  Laser treatment helped temporarily and after two years the circles are back.  In addition, the left eye gets blurry.  And on the third note, both eyes tear.  Drops seem to help.  Next month I return to the eye doctors.  How are you doing?
