As an outsider (from NZ) it did seem that he supported benefits for disabled with no cuts to welfare, isn't that a good thing? I'd assume all communities want to care for their less well off?

He introduced bedroom tax so if you had two bedrooms usually one for equipment or one because the other partner couldn't sleep with the disabled person there was a tax to pay. Others applying for benefits were refused and others on benefits already were reassessed and then benefits stopped
