Started on the neupro patch 3 weeks ago Just got upgraded to 2 milligrams. how long does it take for this to kick in?

I actually started on 8mg and stopped taking time release mirapex.
It takes a few weeks. I continued the requip and the weaned it back down. Started at 6 then went to 8 a month later. Still taking 3mg of requip a day. They are in the same drug class. Best D
Would like to know what drug you are talking about and some background, it appears that we are all talking in foreing tongues, we will emerge from this episode shaky old characters in pharama lingo and owned by a large chain of drug stores, offer some clarity as to what you are saying.!!! Ryan 12
I am always amazed at the lingo we use unless you are a pharacist or a doctor no one knows what you are talking about we will emerge from this contest as shaky old men and women talking in divers tongues.....stop using pharma lingo try English please Ryan 12
I was on 2mg. for 14 days. Next 4mg. for 7 days. Stopped. Started back up with 6mg. for the last 45 days. I found the benefits very subtle. Less tremor and increased motor skills.
I was on requip a dopamine agonist pill first, then started neupro patch(also a dopamine agonist). I went up on the amt of meds in the patch from 6mg to now 8. Tried to stop the requip, but am now having to use it again. it took about three or four weeks on the 8mg patch to feel somewhat better. I dont usually post, only dx for a couple of years. Just thought i would see if i could help. I am a nurse practitioner, so sorry if i sounded to medical. Will try and watch that if i post again in the future. I hope the patch works soon and well for you michaela. Best D
