I had this pain in my right side, from my foot and all the way up to the right side of the hips. I tried many Things, amongst them exercise for the foot. From which I believe the pain came, I curl my foot under when I walk and stand. This summer I found a pair of Soles from Good Feet that simply removed my pain almost instantly. I am not sure if this can help other People, but it helped me.

You must exercise no matter what! Sorry to say 'must'. Esp if you've had 2 knee replacements. Get as much PT as you can. Yes, I have crippling pain, abdominal and knee and in between, and guess what! The neuro upped my carbidopa/levodopa and pain gone, but now I have distracting dystonia. Sounds like the name of a punk band. I'm 73 dx 9 years, symptoms appeared 2002. It's a juggling act because I have to take meds with food.

Good Morning xolentz4. Reading your question and the replies, I have to say that my life has been full of pain. If it was not in my legs then it was in my back, and so on. I could go on forever on this subject, but will refrain from doing so. Monast talked about a pain in her right side. I would like to say that she should look at her shoes! If they are worn badly on the outside then she is supinating, which means walking on the outside of the foot. If she walked on the inside of the foot it would be called pronating. She should do exercises to strengthen the muscles on the outside of her leg, which will pull her feet outwards until she is walking on the centre of her feet. There are many reasons for having pain and each one is invariably caused by something simple. Taking medication is the last thing we should consider, unless everything else has been tried and has failed.

Happy New Year everybody!

John

I have the muscle skeletal pain that migrates but the right foot pain with toe curling like a Charley Horse cramp has not responded to my PD meds. experimenting with some Marijuana CBD and THCV cannabinoids for pain and sleep.Worked for about 4 months now back to the drawing board. I use a tincture before bed to sleep. Take only lab tested plants to know what I am ingesting. No THC so no psychotic effects which some may want but I get dizzy from THC. CBD is in the news for the seizure control effects that show remarkable results. Sanjay Gupta is tracking 41 children had a special on CNN also. Do some research. India uses this for pain in their nursing homes like any other medicine prescribed by a physician, just not here......

Have you had your magnesium level checked? Earlier you had said problems with constipation, Magnesium, probiotics and a greek yogurt (if your not lactose intolerant) will help with the constipation. Also if Magnesium levels are low, you will not be able to absorb other nutrients/vitamins. Anytime I start having back, knee or leg pain, which the leg pain usually starts in one of my butt cheeks (its kind of an alarm system) I know I need to go to the chiropractor for an alignment. Its pain less and is so worth it. I go about every 6 months . If you magnesium level is low then chances are so is your Vit. D.

I see that I should have checked out more on HealthUnlocked, but time flies. The soles that I used one year ago does not help anymore. I have been checking my feet and legs in a Laboratory and are waiting for the results. Meanwhile I suffer from strong pain in the right Foot/leg up to my thigh. I try everynight a creem to release the pain, I try som paracetamoles, and I try to move/excersice during the night. Some Nights I sleep well, sometimes it no good whatover I try.
