I live in Illinois my wife is divorcing me . Is there anyone who gets rental asst. from the state or federal govt. . Where and how did you get it.?

I know nothing about benefits in Ill. Most states I HAVE seen have delegated housing benefits down to the county or in some cases even the city.

My mom in Missouri is applying for a Rent Credit Senior Citizen. She fills out the form at a senior center.

Contact your County Senior Services Department. They will have info on subsidized housing.

Let your fingers do the walking. Start with your local community center. What part of the state do you live in? Just ask questions when you call - you'll be surprised who can help! Stay positive.

hmmm Anthony scanning through your posts seems like you are having a not so good time of it. Just wanted to say I have been at the bottom and got back up again. Be strong, use the support on here, folks are amazing, perhaps try to plan a little, don't loose control of your life, it worked for me.
