Aloha and welcome! I was diagnosed 10 years ago at the age of 45. I am not the " shaky" sort so often folks are surprised that I have PD. I have a lot of muscle stiffness and, this I don't like to admit, pain.
Retired due to disability and moved from Califonia to Hawaii to be near my daughter and grandkids and be warm. I can't tolerate the slightest bit of cold.
I hold down the last bit of "night shift" here for those of us who don't sleep well at night. It's a great community with lots of support , information and an occasional online party.
Well said alla youse guys. That's for all the people who think that people from Brooklyn, NY talk thatway. I moved to Santa Fe from NYC 3 1/2 years ago, love the beautiful views, the clean air and the slower pace of life. Visitors welcome. About PD, Frustration, fatigue, multiple Dxes, medication, new symptoms when I've just made peace with the current ones ....another time. Right now I need a nap.
so, welcome. Feel free to bring up whatever is bugging you, it might be PD related, or not. I've tried several online groups, this one wasthe best. Oh I was Dxed iin 2007, I think and just passed my 72nd birthday. Philosophically I call myself a Jewwitch!! Blessed be.
