I have PD. I had a colonoscopy six weeks ago. I still have side effects from the prep. Is this too soon to expect to be back to normal?

I had colonoscopy 6 weeks ago also, taking a long time to get back to normal, but hey haven't been normal for 20 years. I had 2 day prep.

leaking of watery fluid could indicate that your bowel hasn't readjusted.

Maybe try probiotics? I think doctors need to pay more attention to getting healthy intestinal flora into the bowel (that's why people eat yogurt).

A lot of the human immune system is in the gut. There's also serotonin there, which is the neurochemical, low levels of which are implicated in depression.

Also Irritable bowel syndrome can produce this symptom, with or without PD. Stress can exacerbate IBS.
