I wonder how many had their whole body shake all over in the night. I was vibrating from head to toe.
I do experience this at times. Often when I am trying to sit still, church, class etc. It does stop when I get up and move.
I thought I answered this, but forgot to hit Submit answer. I've never had this experience when I'm awake. But it wakes me and I'm just shaking from head to toe. I don't seem to be able to stop it. I don't have any tremors except my teeth, and they sure can get going.

I can relate this too. During one of my appointments with my neuro my husband told him that I sometimes shook throughout the night. Neuro's response 'Absolute rubbish, people with pd do not shake int heir sleep!'
Suffice to say I changed my neuro!!
Oh, again "Medical Professionals" who have no clue about PD!
I have had several episodes similar to what you hace experienced. The first was before my diagnosis, I thought is was a seizure, my MD told me if I was conscious of it happening it was not a seizure.
Ownbob, my teeth will also shake, I was meeting someone for dinner, I could feel the tremors coming on. I ordered a glass of wine before my dinner, my hands had already started shaking, I had to pick up the wine glass with both hands, then my teeth chattered against the glass. This was before my diagnosis, I have no idea what the poor guy thought was going on!
Shouldn't laugh, but that is sort of funny, in an odd sort of way.
My hands and arms still don't tremor, except that experience in night.
And to Gypsy, I just changed neuros. I've been going to the first one for two years, and he just didn't seem to be interested. The one I went today specializes in Parkinsons, in fact, that's all he does. I think he's going to be very helpful.
It is funny now that I have a name for the problem! I think that I also need to find a doc that specializes in Parkinson's. The answers I get to problems is that it is just part of the disease and I will have to learn to live with it...I know there is not an answer to everything but understanding and listening can go a long way!
Understanding and listening is what this doc does the best. I think specialists are hard to find. Can't tell, but looks like you're in England. Can't help you there.
I get morning shakes in my right hand [occasionally in my jaw]. Sometimes I think that it's from The Meds.This morning, when while having brunch with our daughter, I got a case of minishakes. I get embarrassed. Sat on my hands. My wife always tells me to move my hand and relax my shoulders. The tremors seem to taper off around three PM.
