I'm certain he appreciates your concern and support!

You will find this a wonderful place to have your concerns & fears addressed.

Welcome to the group. It's good to have a group of friends to voice conserns with, to blow off steam with and to find out how Parkinson's feels from different angles.

God will never give us more than we can bear.

I believe this, although I find things hard to take sometimes!

If your god is so loving why does he allow us to suffer? Your posting is hollow and answers nothing.

I have PD and have suffered a lot only to find it makes me to rely more on my spiritual strength. God does not give us these diseases. He will give you strength. I could barely walk yesterday and my pain was great. I prayed to God to give me strength and he did. I went to Church and came home feeling much better.

My Dad was diagnosed with PD in March 02 although it started in 2000. I was fortunate enough to have been able to semi-retire and spend alot of time with him from May 2008 till he passed last July 2011. It was extremely overwhelming and grueling to encourage him to fight the illness, seek out alternative medicine and to just love him despite all of the problems, but I am so grateful for every minute that I did so. I just caution you to take care of yourself and to seek others for support along your journey. (I was lucky to have sisters.) It is very easy to fall into a depression yourself. But no matter what, attention and love are the best medicine...especially from a daughter. Your Father will be eternally grateful, even when he can no longer tell you. Stay Strong!
