T he old saying love is blind is certainly true when a person with Parkinson's is on high level ropinerole and their sexual inhibitions go. That can be doubly dangerous when 2 people get together.

Hi TinaW at the moment I`m only on 6mg ropinirole a day and I`ve had domperidone to counteract the horrible nausea

Dose varies as does Parkinson's. Just be careful, if you feel high/ disinhibited then spea to your PDNS. Are you married? if yes tell your wife to keep an eye out for any major changes. It can ruin your life..

you may start to look at one of the following PORN secretly, SHOPPING hiding things you have bought, GAMBLING secretly and BINGE EATING. If you are aware of the side affects you can hopefully identify that it is happening and get help.

Re domperidone good quality ginger biscuits help against nausea as does root ginger.
