I have parkinsonism....I fall alot...speak low...and write real small anyone out there like me?

I have PD. I stumble a bit but I don't fall. Sometimes I speak too low for people to hear me. The small writing (micrographia) was the first sign I had that something was wrong with me, but it took 4 years before I was diagnosed.

Thanks I was also diagnosed with PD...than they changed it to Parkinsonism...one doctor in Richmond a Dr. White told me I had Paarkinson's couisin..LeeRoy I recon..Iam, so glad I found this site...here I thought I was all alone...Great..thank you Billy Ray

i do fall a lot - currently have a huge knee and bruises where i fell onto my walking frame !!

Shasha...I wear a knee pad inside my pants only one knee thiss way when I fall I remember to fall on my knee pad....I have falle so much they want to replace both my knees and shoulders need rotory repair...I thank God ever day that I have Parkisonism...could be a lot worse...btw i found out about 11 months ago I have prostrate cancer...my dr told me not to worry about the cancer he said I will kill myself falling way before the cancer will ....he is a great dr...Kragmanoski..what a name..Thanks I was also diagnosed with PD...than they changed it to Parkinsonism...one doctor in Richmond a Dr. White told me I had Paarkinson's couisin..LeeRoy I recon..Iam, so glad I found this site...here I thought I was all alone...Great..thank you Billy Ray

io have psp and fall a hellvua lot -wear knee pads as i always fall fwds

speech got much quieter and quicker

handwritign been illegiible for 3 years now

my eyes are closing a lot but not blinking and my downgaze is a littel affected

i drop loads and break lots of things

my o=c- ord has gone i can no longer swim or play pianpo

cannto march on spot

bUT

hey what i can do is sitll get out a bit /am upright a lot fo the time and i did the partyign last night iwht my cat on the internet

I have PD, but have had both symptoms you list. I've always written small, but just thought it was more efficient. I spoke too quietly as a teen, but had to change that habit when a TA in grad school in the early 80's to be heard by the class, and have retained louder speaking since then due to that.

i have the same as your good self , i can no longer write , fall every day stagger around like a drunk , its no fun ,but i just get on with and try to be as positive as i can , idid enjoy last nights party , was dancing on the table , you missed a great night
