Worth looking at your both sitting and standing to see if you have developed low no when standing and if so postural hypotension can be treated also ensure your fluid intake is ample and avoid constipation as these all affect balance

amen, isis, constipation and water retention affect my knee joints and dystonia sets in my left inner thigh. PD such a designer disease! :P

Movicol for constipation with increased fluids will improve constipation. Dystonia responds to maidipar or sinemet dissolved in water. Water retention is worsened by constipation think if your body as a plumbing system and constipation is restricting drainage

someone brought me some from UK -- I guess I didn't drink enough water because it killed my knees. The US equivalent caused me pain as well -- in my lower left ab, like a severe irritation I get when I eat broccoli. My GI doctor recommended magnesium citrate as a laxative and on a daily basis Linzess which causes the colon to retain water. But I have to drink a LOT.

Curiously, magcitrate does nothing to me. I do use Miralax in combination with really strong coffee. I avoid dinking water- I prefer coffee (and yes, I do know it's a diuretic).

May want to have your blood pressure checked. Some drugs for Parkinson's cause blood pressure to drop when you move from lying down or sitting to a standing position.

Tai Chi helped me greatly with balance and falls.

. My blood pressure is well under control due to the heart attack which caused the anoxia. I don't have the balance for Tai Chi currently, but if this ever gets fixed to the point I can do it, I'll give it a shot. Tanks for the comment

IT SI A GREAT FORM FO EXERCISEFOR SLOWIGN DOWN TOO- I HAVE GO TMUCH QUICKER AT EVERYTHIGN

SPEECH/ WALKING ABOUT ETC ETC

SO RU BABLE TO DO ANY EXDERCISE AT ALL?

Walking- or I should shuffeling, with varying degrees of succcess. Going around corners is a challenge. I have never been flexible- even before the parkinsons.
