Hi Carolyn, talk to your Dr, they may give you some sleeping pills or suggest other ways to help you sleep. You could try some Melatonin or try some OTC pain relief sleeping aids.

A dark room and a schedule help me, along with sleeping pills. I am trying to wean off the pills, so I am splitting them in half; before long-I hope to split them into 1/4ths & eventually be free again.

Thank you for the tips I've tried sleeping pills but they don't work for me. I need to find a new RA doc mine doesn't listen to me nor does he seem to care.

I would also recommend talking to your rheumatologist. Mine had me take Benadryl with my sleep problems. But I also have Ambien in case of emergency. Depends how desperately I need sleep.
